The Boys of Fall!!!

Corbyn is playing his last year of rec. football. Next year if he decides to play it will be HIGH SCHOOL! He is playing for the Syracuse Storm, his coach is awesome! Corbyn had Coach Dan for a basketball coach two years ago. Coach Dan has no kids that are old enough to be playing yet, it's so nice when Coaches just love the sport and just love helping the youth. Corbyn is playing alot, he is on Special Team for kick off and punt return and playing Defensive Tackle(which he loves tackling everybody). He has just changed so much over the summer. He has improved so much, and he even is running faster!! He has been a lot of fun to watch already. He definitely looks like a Marshall out there in his pads, the way he stands and runs off the field reminds me so much of his Dad and Uncles!! I'm very proud of our boy!!

Back to School....

Scotlyn Vie-2nd grade Aug.23rd 2010 her 8th birthday and the first day of School!
Fallyn Dawn-5th grade

This year her teacher is Mrs. Kennett.

Fallyn had her in 3rd grade and tells me everyday Mrs. Kennett "rock" she loves her so much! It makes for a great school year when you have a great teacher!!

Emery Elizabeth-6Th grade

This one was hard for me, it doesn't seem like she should be in her last year of elementary. Just yesterday I was taking her to Pre-School. Emery is such a great student and tries so hard. I wish I had her determination!

Corbyn Michael-9th grade

My years with him being my little boy are getting shorter and shorter. I have seen such a huge change in him this summer. He seems older, he is developing into his own person. I am trying to be better at accepting him making some of his own decisions as far as his clothes, hair, oh and the stache and four chin hairs he refuses to shaves and things like that. He gets to be a Teacher's Assistant this year and take Seminary.

Great BBQ with Great Friends!!

I am very lucky to have met one of the strongest, smartest and best friends I have since moving up here. I owe it all to my little Fallyn, when I was going to school and the kids and I were living with my sister during the week she made friends with Kyler who was in her Kindergarten class. He lived in the next cult De sac from Crystal's. They would play all day together, his mom Shaleen came over to meet me cause they were always either at her house or at Crystal's. We found out she had lived in St. George right by another one of my friends the year before. Now that I live up here I don't know how I would have made the last two years without her help! She has watched my kids while I worked, listened to all my problems, and our kids get along so great!! I am so thankful for our family BBQ's are swimming parties at her house

Salt Flats

My Uncle Larry Volk is the president of the 200 mph club for the races they have out on the Salt Flats. I use to go out with my cousin Allison and it was always so much fun! I always remember my Uncle out working on his car in his garage. It was Speed Week in Aug. and I wanted to be able to take my kids out once while they were little. Lucky for us we had the weekend off from work and activities. For our last getaway before school started we headed out to Wendover. The kids had so much fun, it has changed from when I was little. The kids all helped my Aunt Judy sell "Save the Salt" T's and see all the awesome cars!! My Aunt and Uncle were so nice to give us pit passes and let us hang around, also Allison who also broke the 200mph record told the girls all about the cars and all the crazy stuff we use to do out there!

Wisdom Teeth

In July Corbyn had to get his wisdom teeth out! He did a great job, here are some pictures the next day! I wish I would have recorded him, he was pretty out of it from the sedatives. The girls were asking him all kinds of questions. He didn't want me to stay in the room while they did the procedure, so when I went to get him the nurse asked if he was a talkative kid. I said he has his moments but usually not around people he doesn't know, she said he has a great mind he was asking them all kinds of questions. What their thoughts were subjects like war and politics! They couldn't get him to shut up!! He is a funny kid, he healed quickly so next on our list TONSILS.

Bear Lake 2010

We had a great summer this year, we have tried new water parks, went to the zoo with cousins, had softball tournaments, basketball camps, swimming in our best friends pool, and trips to Minersville to see all the cousins! The kids went to Minersville for the 4th of July and had a great time seeing everyone. For the 24th we tried something different, BEAR LAKE! It was perfect, so warm and the water was incredible! We went with Shay and her boys Jaymon and Kyler. It was a great trip!
