Christmas Day

Today was a great day, a great reminder of all the family and friends we have that we love and love us so much. We had a great day and were just together. It was simple but we have all been so busy that it was so nice just to hang out. We are very blessed, and I know its not just today but also the rest of the year. We have made alot of great memories and hopefully learned some life lessons this year!!! Thank you God for all our many blessings......

Christmas 2010....the day is finally here!

December has been a busy month! How do we fit it all in, between the school parties, work parties, family parties it's amazing how I got anything done! It was a very special time of year, with Jessica getting married. The kids are excited to be able to say Levi is their Uncle, and Jess looked beautiful!! As always at Grandma Margie's there is alot going on. Santa came and the kids opened their gifts from cousin's and grandparents! They are truely blessed to have so many cousins on both sides that they love and consider best friends! They have wonderful grandparents who love them who are building memories that they will always cherish..

Thankful!!

No pictures on this post, just wanted to write some things about what is going on. Sometimes when I am struggling I think how can I overcome this part of my life it is just too hard. It takes me looking back to remember that there is hard times then something happens and life goes on. This year has just went by so fast...It scares me what the future holds for us. My babies are no longer babies, now its on to new chapters in their lives. I guess most women don't feel this way til they are older because most don't start as early as I did. Ha ha dare I say early mid life crisis...
I just want my kids to always know that although this journey has not always been easy, but because of them I am a better person. I see people differently, I am easier to forgive, I love alot more, and I am happier when I am with them. Life is a struggle, but I am thankful that the good times out number the bad. I know every day how blessed I am. What did I ever do to get such an amazing family!!
I am thankful because I know in the end this is God's promise to us, he never said it would be easy only that it would be worth it. There are things I still wish were different but I know that it is out of my control and we all have our burdens we need to bare. I hope you kids know how amazing you are and that I know that God has a special plan for each and every one of you.....BE THANKFUL EVERY DAY

Emery was Cleopatra, Fallyn was Michael Jackson, Scotlyn was Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz (with Toto too)
Corbyn was the scariest a teenage boy who is too cool to do that kid stuff anymore!!! EEEKKK
It was a cold and rainy night but the kids still had fun and we ate alot of Pizza, Cream of Broccoli Soup, and Nacho's!!!

Emery Elizabeth Marshall turned 12 on Oct. 21st. She is growing up to be such a beautiful young lady! She had a great day, she took treats for her class. When she got home she saw our presents for her. She got some makeup, a makeup bag, a movie, and tickets to go to Thriller. It was just a mommy daughter date and I loved hanging out with her. She is so smart and I am very proud of her!! Thanks for all the birthday wishes it really does make the kids feel special!!

Another football season done....

OK so I am kinda getting depressed, the kids seem like they are growing up to fast. Well here is another chapter done in our lives. Corbyn's last year of Rec. football, it just seems like he can't be that old already! I really had alot of fun watching him this year. He had AMAZING COACHES! Honestly I wish everyone who coached youth sports could be like his coaches. They taught those boys so much about football, being a team, respect, and determination. They had a great season going 7-2 and was the only Syracuse team in their division to go to the playoffs! Well Corbyn I was so impressed by you this year, you finished out doing your best and that's what is all about! All the practices, running , not eating too much on Friday's so you could make weight paid off...

Happy Fall!!

I love fall! It really is the best time of the year. This year we tried soccer for Fallyn and Scotlyn, since Emery played softball all Spring and Summer. It has been alot of fun and they both really like it.The only thing is our Saturday's are CRAZY!! I usually work the night before so I get home and Corbyn's football games are start early, two girls have cheer at 8:30am, then two soccer games all before noon!!! I can say we survived I only was late a couple times and usually missed someone doing something great because I left to go watch the other. Here are a few pics of my soccer stars!!!

Happy Birthday Scotlyn Vie!!

So I am behind...Scotlyn's bday is Aug. 23 she turned 8 this year!!! I cant believe it, it doesn't seem like my baby can be 8. This also means she will get baptized.I am so excited for her, she can't wait. In honor of my lil Scotti turning 8 I want her to know 8 things I love about her:
1- Her crazy little faces that make me laugh even when I am really mad!
2-She is so creative, she can make a mess anywhere!!
3-I love when I can her singing through the door when she is taking a bath
4-I love how she ALWAYS kisses me good bye before  I go to work
5-I love how thoughtful she can be to others
6-I love her jokes (even though she usually forgets the punch line)
7-I love her ability to fall or trip over anything..famous words I'm OK!!!
8-Even though I am going to pay thousands of dollars in dental work for this one...I love to watch her sleep, with her little thumb in her mouth and her blanket right up to her nose. She hasn't changed since the day  I brought her home!!!

Scotlyn's birthday was on the first day of school this year. She had a good day and had a little family party. I hope she always remembers how important she is to this family. You were a beautiful baby, an adorable toddler, and now an amazing young girl.Your family loves you so much!!!

The Boys of Fall!!!

Corbyn is playing his last year of rec. football. Next year if he decides to play it will be HIGH SCHOOL! He is playing for the Syracuse Storm, his coach is awesome! Corbyn had Coach Dan for a basketball coach two years ago. Coach Dan has no kids that are old enough to be playing yet, it's so nice when Coaches just love the sport and just love helping the youth. Corbyn is playing alot, he is on Special Team for kick off and punt return and playing Defensive Tackle(which he loves tackling everybody). He has just changed so much over the summer. He has improved so much, and he even is running faster!! He has been a lot of fun to watch already. He definitely looks like a Marshall out there in his pads, the way he stands and runs off the field reminds me so much of his Dad and Uncles!! I'm very proud of our boy!!
