*******Basketball 2012************

Basketball season means we are pretty busy most nights of the week. Emery made the Junior High team, and she is doing pretty good. Her JV team finished undefeated, she has seen some Varsity time. I do not have many pictures because I haven't been able to go to many due to work. Its really hard not to be there but I get play by play updates thanks to Grandpa Mike, and Emery probably doenst miss hearing me yell.
Fallyn is playing recreation basketball and I am coaching so I haven't been able to take pictures. She is becoming a really good ball handler. She is getting pretty fast, and she isn't afraid to shoot the ball.
Scotlyn is playing her first year that is not co ed. She is the one I am most impressed with, she really tries hard. She is so funny out there and really stays on her man on defense!!!
I love this time of year, final four is just around the corner!!

Fallyn's 12th Birthday!!

We had a great weekend for Falllyns birthday, I hope she knows how much she is loved and how important she is to the world.

Fallyn is full of life, spunk, and humor! Its amazing to watch her grow, she can make a friend anywhere. She can make a joke and really helps us not be so serious.
We went shopping with Grandma Margie, watched movies with her dad, had a swimming party with her friends, and had fun with neighbors on Superbowl Sunday!

Yep...I cooked!!

A thankful heart is not only the greatest virtue, but the parent of all the other virtues. ~Cicero

What a great Thanksgiving we were able to have this year! I was a little nervous about cooking this year, I almost decided that we should just go out to eat. The kids really wanted to try to cook this time! I wish I would have taken a picture cause it might not happen again, but I did pretty good! It helped that we went to the movie before we ate so by the time the kids at a 4:30 they were starving.

A great day, we went to the Muppets movie, played Just dance 3, watched a little football, and played some basketball.

Mighty Hunter

Corbyn was able to get his deer this year! He is a man a few words so there might be an exciting story but I guess only Corbyn, Jess, and Grandpa Tim know it. He did say he had fun, I'm glad he has a Grandpa that will take the time and the patience to take him out. I hunted every year with my great grandpa and we never hit a deer so I know it's a big deal that he got one!!!

Intensity

Emery and Fallyn's softball team had their last tournament for the year in St. George. It was sad to see them struggle against some teams but the girls still had alot of fun with their team. In the end that's what this is all about. They both have met some great girls that go to other schools and have made some great friendships. The girls on the team swam at the pool, played laser tag, mini golf, and just had too much fun. They were so excited that Margie, Tim, Jenni, Jess, Alyssa, and Camri came and watched them. Just wish they would have won a few more games!
We are so proud of Emery and Fallyn it sure is fun to watch them grow into amazing people with not only athletic ability but love to watch the friendships and memories they are making!

Happy Halloween 2011

We had so many trick or treaters this year! It was finally nice enough for the kids to go out this year, this is the first year we have been up here when it was not snowing or raining on Halloween.
No pictures of Corbyn, he did not dress up...he has never been a fan of this holiday.

The big 13!!!

October 21, 2011 my beautiful daughter turned 13!  Emery is such a go getter, she has so much motivation, and talent. People sometimes think things come easy for Emery, and she makes it look like that. In all honesty Emery works very hard at everything she does. When she was in 1st grade she struggled with reading, they even wondered if she suffered from dyslexia. She didn't like the feeling of not being able to do what everyone else could do. Her reading teacher said she had never seen a 1st grader improve so much so quickly. That was the first obstacle I watched her overcome, and I see that same determination in everything she wants in her life. Emery studies all the time and strives for great grades, she always is outside throwing a softball, or hitting a volleyball. Emery, you are so much fun to be around and you always make me laugh.
Thank you for being the wonderful girl you are!
Happy Birthday!!
 Girls night out!!
Spent the day at the Living Planetarium and Gardner Village

Up bright and early the next morning for the last two games in Brigham
 Intensity!!!
Grandma and Grandpa Marshall gave her a sewing machine for her birthday.
She already made a minky blanket!!
