Scotlyn Vie

My baby is not so much a baby anymore... Today she is 7. I am a little sad, she is my little buddy but now it's all day school and friends and activities. I am so proud of my little girl, she made our family complete that's for sure. Without her humor and funny ways my life would not be the same. I love so many things about her, she is kind, funny, falls all the time, loud, opinionated, and sassy. She looks up to her big brother so much and I love the way they seem to talk about things and work things out. She loves being at her grandma Margie's cause she gets spoiled but she loves to be wrapped in her blanket and her thumb. I am sad for her to grow up but I am excited about all the things she will get to do now. I love you so much Scotlyn Vie!!!

Syracuse Football

Corbyn #31 he is having fun with football- he really is starting to grow and he is no longer the littlest kid on the team. He really likes football and he is a good sport and team mate. It is weird to see him so big out there with his pads on. He reminds me so much of his dad out there when we weren't much older than he is right now. Wow good job Corbyn!

Corbyn loves Green Day he listen's to their music all night. When I found out they were coming to SLC I knew it would be a great suprise for him. He has helped me so much this summer that I wanted to reward him. Jessica and her friend were so nice to go with him, he had so much fun. He has wore the shirt he got at the concert every day since! I hope it will be a great memory for them one day I know he will never forget it!

Bee's game

Me and the kids went to a Bee's game- we had so much fun! Nothing better than a baseball field on a lazy summer evening! It made me happy and brought back so many memories when my Grandpa Brown use to take me to Trappers baseball games. I have been so lucky to have so many great influences in my life.

Softball

Emery has done so well this year! She is really an awesome player who is very dependable and smart at the game! She made some amazing plays and her team did pretty well.

We cant wait till Maddy & big K get here

Happy Birthday Jenni!
I just want you to know how much I love you and what a great sister you have been to me.
I have known you for so long it's crazy! Even before you were my sister in law I thought you were the coolest. I was just a little annoying 7th grader but I thought you were the best at all sports you played, there wasn't one sport that you weren't the best player on the team! You were always so nice to me and even wrote me on your mission! We have went through being newly weds together, new moms, feeling over whelmed, marriage, coaching, and just tons of great and not so great things together. I want you to know there is not one thing I couldn't say to you. Thank you for always being there for my kids and being at every ones events. You a giving and kind and your family is blessed to have you as their big sis! Thanks for being understanding and being there to help me when I needed it. I hope you have a great birthday!!!!!

Way over due

I have been terrible but my camera broke I don't really want to blame anyone but I'm sure you guys can figure out who had a part to play in that! (yes it's the youngest) So no pics and I'm so sad because we went to Lagoon with Chad, Jamie, Aspen, Addy, and Ty and we had sooo much fun. Aspen is a wonderful lil dancer she is the youngest in her dance group but we all know Aspen has a hard time walking in a straight line but when she gets out on the floor she is really talented I was so proud of her.
Also Emery and her comp. softball team (Blast) had some great tourneys and they really did a great job. Even Grandma Margie and Grandpa Tim surprised her and drove all the way up here just too watch her play. I am so thankful how close she is too them, they couldn't stay and they had too get right back home. In the car coming home all the kids where very quiet, I asked if they wanted to call Margie even though they just left and Em said yes. Well the moment she heard Margie's voice she broke down crying and before you knew it everyone in the car was crying even me!!! After she hung up I heard how they all missed them so much and how homesick they were for their grandparents. I was very heart broken for my little babies I know the love for your grandparents is a very special one and I am grateful for my dad and Scott's mom and dad for giving so much of themselves to my children and help them become the wonderful people they are.
Also Fallyn and Scotlyn have been playing softball and machine pitch baseball. It has been fun but we are ready for a break. Corbyn is a teenager-he turned 13 May 28th. He had to go to school but he said he had a good day. We all went to my kids fav. place to eat Chuck a rama his dad got him a pocket knife and some binoculars cause he gets to go hunting this year. He also got a new ipod with his name on it. I am so proud of him he really is a great kid and we still get along pretty well, so I hope it stays like that.
Well I hope I get a new camera for my bday and then I will have pics for the 4th of July!

A word about my man!!

I know my blogs are usually about my girls, that's because they stand behind me and edit what I put in and make sure they have equal pics! So that leaves the quiet man in our house on the couch but I want to say a little about Corbyn. I am so proud of him he is taking some advanced swimming classes so that he can join the Clearfield swim team. Also he has been making so many improvement in school.

Corbyn was the best baby ever and he has always had such a tender and giving heart. He is the first grandchild on both sides. He is the one that started the tradition of not calling Grandma and Grandpa Marshall his grandparents but just Margie and Tim. I think its cause he was the only one for awhile and he listened to the adults so he just called us all by our first name even me I was Header! He the funniest sense of humor, its dry and you have to let him open up but he really is so funny! There are not very many times I don't see Corbyn open a door for a lady and all the older women love that and it makes me proud.

Corbyn has had alot of changes this year new school, new friends, and new house but he never complains. He has to listen to all of us girls in this family pick at his face, tell him how to do his hair and what he should wear.

Here is just a few things you might not know about him:

He could read by the time he was in kindergarten

He loves to listen to music at night(he listens to church songs I think that is so cute)

He loves watching the history and military channel

He knows alot of facts that he will just throw out randomly

Linda Thompson put him in the pool and under the water at 1 month old and he could swim by the time he was two and swimming in the deep end at 4

Needless to say he mean so much to me, and he has been my little man and grown up with me and I am so thankful he is so understanding that I'm not perfect but I didn't know how much I could love till I held him.

Snowboarding,Softball and Ava!!

This last week was a busy week! Emery said she had the best week ever and I have to agree. Her class went snowboarding, I wish I could have seen her but she had a blast! After her last basketball games one of the dad's from the other team came up to us and said Emery is so aggressive and he would like her to play on his competitive softball team for 10 and 11 year olds! Ok I am going to brag I was so proud and she was nervous because she has only played hardball never softball. She went to her first practice and she did awesome, the coach was impressed with her abilities. So she will be busy this summer!

Also it was cute baby Ava's blessing and I can't believe how fast she is growing and changing! She is such a good baby and all her cousin's just want to hold and love on her, with that many cousins I hope she never gets sick of all that attention! Also we saw Maddy, Kennedy, and Mr. Nixon it's never long enough though. Everyone was sad all the way home cause they just love being with their cousins! The last few pics are the girls before they cheered at the Syracuse High basketball game.

Happy Valentine's day! Well no candle light dinner or anything romantic-maybe pizza and a movie! Oh well we only had to make two boxes for the kids this year! Emery had a football field and Scotlyn wanted a princess castle-so I am not that crafty but they turned out ok. Happy luv day to all!!!

Alone Time!!!

Well I have been working nights, and I get home in time to get the kids off to school about 8:30 and then I have to pick Scotlyn up at 11:30. So needless to say I don't get alot of sleep in those 3 days. Scotlyn is good to let me have a little nap after she eats. I am always saying how she doesn't get into things, then I found my camera! I thought this was so funny she knows how to set the timer and I cant even do that! So this is what Scotti is up to when I am napping
